How do I search for tournaments?
Type a city, ZIP code, or course name in the search bar and tap the Search key on your keyboard. Results update as you type, and pressing Search runs a full location lookup.
How does “Near me” work?
Tap the target icon in the search bar. TeeScout asks for location permission and shows tournaments around you, sorted by distance. Location is used only at that moment and only while the app is open. You can change the search radius (10–250 miles) in Settings.
I denied location — can I still use the app?
Yes. Search by city, ZIP, or course instead. You can enable location later in your device settings.
How do I save a tournament?
Tap the bookmark icon on any tournament card or on the tournament details screen. Find saved events on the Saved tab.
How do I register for a tournament?
Open a tournament and tap Register now to go to the official registration page, or Official tournament information for event details. Registration happens on the organizer’s website, not inside TeeScout.
The details look out of date.
TeeScout aggregates listings from many sources, and organizers can change details at any time. Always confirm the date, deadline, fee, and availability on the official source before you travel. Pull down on the list to refresh.
Why do I see ads?
TeeScout is free and supported by ads. You can manage ad privacy choices in Settings → Google ad privacy choices where available in your region.
How do I clear my data?
Go to Settings → Clear local interest profile, or uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data (saved events and preferences).
